To quickly supply plants with magnesium, Polcalc introduces a new INNOVATIVE calcium-magnesium fertilizer called SuperMag to the market, which is produced from micronized magnesium meal containing valuable macro and micronutrients (B, Zn, Mn, Mo, Fe, Cu).
SuperMag is a fertilizer with the highest calcium and magnesium content. These elements, due to the processing of the raw material, are characterized by easy assimilation by plants. The importance of calcium uptake by plants should be considered both on a micro-scale (cell differentiation) and a macro scale (formation of tissues and organs). It fulfills several very important functions in the plant. It is involved, among other things, in the composition of cell walls and determines their permeability, activates enzymes, neutralizes organic acids, and influences the development and growth of roots.
This element plays both a structural role, being part of membranes and cell walls, and a secondary messenger function - calmodulin. This contributes to increased resistance to pathogens and infections.
The second essential macronutrient for plant life present in SuperMag fertilizer is magnesium. Its content is 42% MgCO₃. Magnesium in the plant performs several important physiological functions. It regulates the intensity of photosynthesis because it conditions the chlorophyll content in the leaves. It also determines the energy metabolism in the plant, the synthesis of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, as well as the transport of assimilates and limits the content of nitrates. It has been shown that magnesium stimulates the development of the root system and the processes of nutrient uptake by plants from the soil.
SuperMag , thanks to its high calcium and magnesium content, influences the rapid increase in soil pH, thereby increasing the assimilation of macronutrients, and causing a significant increase in the yields of cultivated plants. SuperMag is produced using completely ecological technology - without the use of adhesives or other "improvers". The binding substance for the granules is water. Thanks to this, the product is characterized by 100% reactivity. Immediately after entering the soil, it binds to the water contained in it, and the granules decompose and react with the soil. The release of beneficial mineral substances occurs rapidly. This strikingly distinguishes the SuperMag product from fertilizers offered by other manufacturers, which are bound with adhesives, and in such cases, the reaction time with the soil can take several years.
Each granule of our product has enormous acidifying potential. Laboratory tests have shown that it allows for the acidification of approximately 0.5 kg of soil from pH4 to pH7. The fertilizer can be used all year round.
